Allegheny River - Bradford

Three sections of the Allegheny River encompassing 87 miles between Kinzua Dam and Emlenton are included in the Federal Wild and Scenic River System. Special trout regulations apply between Kinzua Dam and the town of Warren.

State Route 62 parallels much of the river. Canoes, jet boats and small fishing boats are able to navigate much of the river. There are various launches and numerous canoe liveries along the river. There are some areas of the river that can be waded during low flows. Contact the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers at 814-726-0164 for river level information.
