This 540 acre lake was created by the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers. The average depth of the lake is 20 feet with a maximum depth of 40 feet and there is no-horsepower limit on the lake. There is a new access ramp below the dam in the outflow area which provides tailwater access.
The reservoir can be accessed by the boat launch at the dam, and canoe and small watercraft launch near Nebraska Bridge at the upper end of the lake.
