Description
Learn all you wanted to know about Amish life but haven't had the chance to ask at the Amish Farm and House located at the heart of Pennsylvania Amish country. Built in 1805, the house itself is a historic relic, and visitors are treated to a guided 45-minute tour of the interior for a better look at traditional furnishings and a peek inside an Amish bedroom. When you're done, enjoy a self-guided tour of the farm grounds where sights to see include a range of domestic animals, a quaint covered bridge, a stone bank barn and even an authentic Conestoga wagon. Ask about the Countryside Bus Tour on offer if you're interested in seeing a bit more of the Amish region.
