Description
Erie Maritime Museum's mission,first and foremost, is to educate visitors on both the U.S. Brig Niagara's historical exploits and regional maritime history. Those who happen by when the U.S. Brig Niagara is at berth here, her homeport, can enjoy an upclose look at the ship but even when this historic boat is underway there's plenty to see in the museum itself. Learn about steam-powered electricity, the Battle of Lake Erie, iron-hulled warships and explore local ecosystems in this Great Lakes oriented facility.
